A first timers guide to creating and enjoying my own perfect plot with all the issues that come along on the way

You must have inherited the only allotment plot in the whole of the British Isles that doesn't have two or three well-established rhubard crowns already. Bad luck.
When we took over ours, we pulled a few rhubarb stalks and took them to my dad. "There you are, dad. Rhubarb from our allotment" and this was before we had ever put spade to earth.
Rhubarb was the first thing I had from my "loaned" plot last year. Unfortunately the new one I took on in December didn't have any.....it has now!!!
Hiya,
I may be wrong but with the look of the photo you could be planting your rhubarb too deep, the crown should lay just below the soil level and not buried,i do apologise in advance if i am wrong?
:/
Great to see you planting....you'll have plenty for pie later in the year.
